Friendly Lender
Becoming a friendly lender means: the joy of supporting an ecovillage community — a group of people who share similar values and are actively working toward social and ecological regeneration. Lending us money will help to sustain and develop the project.
Our aim is to fully cover the land cost through residential shares once around 30 residents have joined the ecovillage
- Becoming a friendly lender gives you the possibility to join the project later on as a resident, when you have more time and capacity to be involved and to continue contributing to the community.
- As a friendly lender, you also have the opportunity to host a non-profit event, workshop, or session on our land, provided it aligns with the values of Ecovillage Georgia and is discussed and agreed upon with the core team.
- To support the Ecovillage, you can lend us a minimum of 1000 USD on a negotiated time frame with a holding period of one year.
- Thus loans are secured by the value of the property, a legally valid contract, a loan certificate and will be repaid according to mutually agreed timelines and conditions, without interest.
- Friendly lenders receive priority access to participate in our events, workshops, and informal or non-formal activities.
- You can share in our surplus harvest – we often bring hazelnuts, fruits and other products to Tbilisi to give to our friends.
Volunteer
We love to welcome like-minded people in our community.
Is it short-term or long-term volunteering we are happy to assist you at Ecovillage Georgia.
As a volunteer you can contribute with your skills and time, support the project through your expertise and by spreading the word. With shorter visits you can help with urgent needs, it can be help needed at workshops, events, camps, with cooking, cleaning or with more time you can become more included in our circles, such as infrastructure, gardening, social media, community circle etc.
We recommend staying a minimum of 1 week or short volunteering and for longer stays we recommend to witness the beauty of our land from early spring till late autumn.
Supporter
As you probably already know we are a voluntary project, due to the political climate in the world we find it difficult to get financial support from organizations, initiatives, governments etc. That’s why we are very grateful for every contribution.
You can directly support us with GoFundMe (scroll down) or ask us for our Georgian bank account numbers.
Every donation goes to build the Ecovillage we imagine, to support the community and sustainable values.
Gofundme campaign is to develop our community center, finish the insulation and prepare for winter.
We are grateful for your support and care!
