Ecovillage Georgia Summer Camp

Join our learning community in nature!

In July 2026 we are inviting children and families to join us in Ecovillage Georgia for a unique camp experience rooted in community, creativity, and connection to nature.

Nestled at the foot of the Caucasus Mountains, our camp is designed for children aged 4–12 to discover a joyful, alternative way of living — one that embraces harmony with each other and with the Earth.

What do we offer?

What?

A nature-based international summer camp for children aged 4 -12.

The camp is a day camp with a few overnight options available upon request!

The main language is English but we can provide support with Georgian, Russian, and German language.

Rooted in joyful exploration, creativity, nature awareness, and community living.

When?

Two terms, that run

Monday - Friday: 6 - 10 July and 13 - 17 July 2026.

It is possible to participate in both terms (recommended!) or for one week.

Where?

At Ecovillage Georgia in Ninigori, Lagodekhi Municipality, Kakheti Region – just 2,5 hours from Tbilisi.

We will spend 95% of the time outdoors, in the shade of our fig trees, at the stream, forest, in our gardens, and at the river.

Cost

As a social enterprise, we want to be transparent about our prices, ensure accessibility, and we also need to sustain and develop the community. Therefore, we have two price options:

Cost price - 550 Gel per week to cover our costs of food, materials, and a small compensation for our team - for those with local / lower income.
Commercial price - 300 Euro per week to cover our costs + support a local child to participate free of charge, and contribute to the development of communal spaces of Ecovillage Georgia - for those with higher income.

Prices are per week (Monday - Friday) per child.
20% Discount for siblings and for two-week stays are available.

What is included?

One freshly cooked kids-proof, vegetarian/vegan lunch daily (we can accommodate to allergies and picky eaters).
Two healthy snacks
Full board for overnight stay can be provided upon request
All educational and creative materials
Activities: art & nature workshops, visits to the river, games, etc.

Families can be involved in the community according to desire.

Stay

Families are welcome to stay on our land in their camper van or in tents for free! We can also help you reserve a nearby guesthouse (walking distance).

For overnight options, the children will be accommodated in tents within a designated camping area inside or behind the barn.

What I loved the most was Jana’s and Anna’s approach to the summer camp and the children. The endless love, patience, kindness, energy that Anna and Jana gave the children and the summer camp. Their overall approach to communicating with children and supporting their development was astounding. The children participating in the summer camp were all lovely, kind, playful and it actually worked really well having mixed age groups.

The summercamp was a great experience for all of us. My children made new friends, experienced being part of an international community, and had lots of fun in nature. They are excited to participate again in 2026

Luke usually struggles with changes and new environment, however, at the summer camp at the end of the day when it was time to pick him up, he didn’t want to leave he was enjoying it so much and would beg me to stay longer and in the morning would wake up early to make sure he was the first to arrive at summer camp. I think this says it all about how good the summer camp was, how amazing Jana and Anna were with the children and that more camps or long weekends should be considered going forward

🎒 Educational Approach & Camp Activities

We offer a colorful and flexible program with space for spontaneity, creative play, and quiet moments. Our activities reflect the values we live by and support the full development of each child in body, mind, and spirit.
All activities are voluntary, and children are supported to develop freely, contribute their own ideas, connect with animals and people, or simply relax under the trees. Here’s what we’ll explore together:

🤝 Social Development

Through group games, shared meals, and collaborative bushcraft projects, we practice respectful, non-violent communication, mindfulness, and appreciation of each other’s uniqueness. Activities include circle games, nature quests, and cooking. Children will be invited to share their skills with other participants if they want.

🌿 Ecological Discovery

Kids connect with the natural world by using all their senses — planting, harvesting, composting, and creating art from natural materials. We explore regenerative ecology in playful, hands-on ways that help children appreciate the beauty and magic of Mother Earth.

🌀 Self-Awareness & Inner Connection

Movement, yoga, breathing exercises, and daily reflection circles help children tune into their bodies and emotions. We’ll ground ourselves with barefoot walks, water play in our stream and river, working with clay and earth, exploring how nature lives both around and within us.

Who We Are

Ecovillage Georgia is an emerging intentional community located in Ninigori, Kakheti, where people come together to explore regenerative ways of living, working, and learning. We’re a non-hierarchical, inclusive group rooted in ecology, cooperation, and cultural creativity.

Our daily life blends hands-on projects with shared values – from permaculture gardening and natural building to solar tech and compost systems. Alongside that, we host healing retreats and stay closely connected with a vibrant network of friends, educators, and changemakers who share our vision.

We’re also growing, welcoming new residents and imagining a future hub or school that can support lifelong learning.
